The EU makes the Capital Region greener
The company SKANDINAVISK produces skin care and fragrances for the home. The company is located in Copenhagen and is inspired by the capital's goal of becoming CO₂ neutral by 2025. Actually, SKANDINAVISK has committed itself to the same goal.
With the help of the project “Bæredygtig Bundlinje 2.0”, which is funded with DKK 13.5 million from the EU Regional Development Fund, SKANDINAVISK received help to understand what CO₂ imprint their products leave on the environment – and especially how the company can reduce the imprint. Today, the packaging of the company's products therefore consists of glass and bioplastics made from sugar cane – and SKANDINAVISK is also working on developing even more sustainable packaging alternatives with, e.g., plant fibres.
